About The Event
Course Description:
Improv has so much to offer. From developing a sense of humor for aspiring comedians, to learning how to work in a team with your coworkers, to just being able to socialize without putting your foot in your mouth. In WCTC's introductory improv course, students will develop both the "head" skills required to spontaneously create a great scene with their scene partners, as well as the "heart" skills that let's a performer open up and create meaningful moments on stage.
This course is great for novice and veteran improvisors alike, and is open to anyone between the ages of 14 and 140.
(The nature of improv means that mature content may appear in scenes. While generating this kind of content is not the explicit objective of this course, parents of improvisors under the age of 18 should be advised WCTC can make no guarantees about what the exact content of scenes created in class will be.)
